How To Teach Phonic Sounds

1). Start with the alphabet first: teach the alphabet of the English letters, and learn the names and sounds of the alphabet.

2). Introduce short vowels: There are five types of short vowels (a, e, i, o, u) and teach the letter sounds related to the vowels.

3). Teach compound sounds: Ask the child to form simple words such as "cat", "rat", monkey and "dog". Encourage matching sounds. And in return give points to the child.

5). Buy a book: Buy a good book in which the pronunciation sounds are done correctly and do new activities with the child to make the child speak the words.

6). Practice everyday: Practice phonics skills regularly and practice improves memory and is important for a child's development

7). Praise: Encourage and praise the efforts and successes made by the child. So that they keep doing such activities continuously.

8). Games with learning: Give them a game related to phonics to play along with studying. Make learning phonics an enjoyable and easy experience
